Śrīmajjagadguru Svāmī Śrī Nischalananda Sarasvatījī Mahārāja, Shankaracharya of Puri, was asked to give his opinion on the film Adipurush which has been a great insult to Hindus.
Mahārājajī says that they must try making a film like this on the Mulsim, Christian or Communists. If they do so, there will be an uprising. This act is the misuse of the tolerance of Hindus. It is not appropriate.
On being asked if the Government must pay heed to the issue of films like these, Mahārājajī questions what kind of Government the interviewer is referring to. He adds that there is no such Government in our country.
The interviewer mentions that claims are made on the protection of Hindus by the current Government. To that Mahārājajī responds saying that if this were to be true and the Governments intention was to protect Hindus, cow slaughter would not be there and Hindus would not be converted to Christianity in the name of service.
He said that the politicians perpetuate poverty and take full advantage it. This must not happen and to prevent this tendency every household should offer one rupee and one hour per day, and utilise it to organise their own area. This would resolve eighty percent of the problem.
