Our environment impacts us deeply. A clean, bright, disciplined and pure ambience at home naturally has a positive impact on our mind and health.

We must create an environment that is pure and centred around Bhagavan. If we are following the lifestyle of a Hindu householder, our children shall develop faith at a very young age.

  • The sacred Tulasi must be worshipped at home.
  • We must take care that the kula devi devata and kula guru are not lost.
  • Panchadevatas must be worshipped daily.
  • The purity of food must remain. Things like eggs, coca cola etc, must not be had and food must be sattvika in nature so that our mind is positively impacted.
  • In the name of fashion, western clothes and hairstyles must not be adopted. Women must wear saris and not salwar suits. You cannot protect dharma by neglecting what you eat and what you wear (since it is an integral part of our culture and tradition).

To have a good child and to bring him up well is a great responsibility. Thus, the above must be followed very diligently so that the children get the right samskaras as per the traditions of the family they are born in.
